Our client needed a tool, capable of roll-out across European markets, that gave them up-to-date analysis of the drivers of their sales across their portfolio.
We built a bespoke, browser-based tool – powered by our rapid econometric modelling – which showed them exactly what had caused sales to increase or decrease in the latest period, covering factors such as pricing and promotions, weather, distribution, cannibalisation and seasonality. We applied a logical hierarchy to enable end users to drill-down by product when using the tool.
The tool helped the business to understand the key drivers of sales in the latest period and enabled them to provide accurate reporting to the board and plan corrective actions where necessary.
